NAIROBI, Kenya– SuperSport
United FC travel down to the Cape to take on Stellenbosch at the Cape Town
Stadium on Friday night in a highly anticipated PSL encounter.

Stellenbosch are enjoying a creditable campaign after
promotion to the PSL, sitting in 11th place on the log despite only finding
themselves only four points above the relegation battle.

Former Bafana Bafana midfielder and SportPesa Brand
Ambassador Teko Modise stated the importance of this counter, despite both
sides playing a similar style of football.

“Both teams play a similar style of football to some
extent and this should make it an exciting match.

“They are fighting for improvement on their positions
and despite being at different ends of the table, this is a vital six pointer
for both teams,” Modise told SportPesa News.

SuperSport have managed two wins in their last five fixtures
and are in fourth place with 34 points, having played 21 matches.

The second game Modise identified as a must-watch this
weekend is the one between Mamelodi Sundowns and Chippa United at Loftus Versveld
on Saturday afternoon.

Sundowns sit in third position on the PSL log and are
currently 10 points behind leaders Kaizer Chiefs, but they do have a game in
hand.

“This is another game where both sides will be
desperate to gain all three points although for different reasons.

“On the one hand, Sundowns are looking to close the gap
on Kaizer Chiefs and keep their title hopes alive, but Chippa are sitting only
two points above the relegation places and badly need the three points,” he
underlined.

Chippa, who have only managed one win in their last five
matches, will need a positive result if they are to improve on their 22 points
that leave them in 12th place standing.

“If any of the teams below Chippa win their next game
they could push Chippa into the drop zone,” he added.
