Paris Saint-Germain (PSG)Advancing in Talks to Sign Victor Osimhen for £84 Million

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is making significant progress in their pursuit of Napoli’s star striker, Victor Osimhen. According to renowned football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the French champions are keen on securing Osimhen’s services this summer and have advanced in their discussions with the player’s camp.

Osimhen, who has expressed interest in joining PSG, could make the move if an agreement is reached between the two clubs. PSG is prepared to offer £84 million (€100 million) for the Nigerian forward, a substantial sum that reflects their determination to bolster their attacking lineup.

Despite the significant offer, Napoli’s owner, Aurelio De Laurentiis, has previously set a higher price tag of around £109 million for Osimhen. However, there is optimism that PSG’s current bid could still facilitate the deal’s completion.

Osimhen, who extended his contract with Napoli in 2023 to remain with the club until 2026, has been a pivotal figure for the Serie A side. During his tenure, he has made 133 appearances across all competitions and scored 76 goals. His remarkable performance in the 2022-23 season, where he netted 26 goals, was instrumental in helping Napoli secure the league title.

As negotiations continue, PSG fans eagerly await further developments, hoping to see Osimhen don the Parisian colors in the upcoming season.
