Former Posta Rangers FC striker Ezekiel Okare has penned a new contract with National Super League (NSL) side Mully Children Family (MCF) FC.
Elijah Mwanzia of Fortune Sacco FC is also among the new eight signings who have joined the christian outfit.
“I had a tough season with Posta Rangers in the second leg. I battled numerous knee injuries.I also had limited playing time when i recovered,” said Okare.
“I have now shifted base to MCF.The team has strong christian values and virtues which have made it easy for me to settle in. Their structural organisation also provides more room to do better as a player.”
Okare says he is bringing to NSL a five year experience he acquired while playing top flight football.
“I hope to impact MCF positively by netting goals,” he says.
“As a striker, our main role is to find the back of the net as many times as we can. So my target this season is to find my purpose by scoring goals and chase the golden boot which should be in line with our main objective of getting the team to the Kenyan Premier League.”
The MCF FC is among the 20 NSL teams that were on Tuesday kitted by betting firm Betika ahead of the new season that kicks off on November 6.
The teams also received football kits, balls, and nets.
This comes less than two months after the clubs were hosted to a first ever football awards ceremony for the second division league that saw over 11 category winners received trophies and cash prices.
