Prominent Kenyan businessman Bundotich Zedekiah Kiprop, widely known as Buzeki, has issued a strong call to President William Ruto, urging him to dismiss key economic advisors, particularly David Ndii and Moses Kuria.
In a recent post on X, Buzeki blamed the Presidential Council of Economic Advisors (CEA) for Kenya’s current economic challenges, suggesting that their policies are self-centered and deceptive rather than supportive of ordinary Kenyans.
“The so-called economic council sitting at State House is the source of Kenya’s problems. Their strategies are aimed at deception, rather than benefiting Wanjiku (citizens),” Buzeki posted. “The President should do away with this economic council.”
The CEA, led by economist David Ndii, is responsible for advising President Ruto on economic matters, including the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA) Plan. The council’s duties include policy analysis, economic research, and promoting discussions on Kenya’s economic growth.
