The Night Out
At Platinum 7D, Eileen danced and enjoyed the music by DJ Lyta and DJ Festa. The night appeared to be one of joy and celebration. However, the night took a dark turn between the nightclub and the Eveready roundabout, where her body was later discovered.
The Discovery
Karen Maina, a close friend of Eileen, was one of the first to arrive at the scene. Overcome with shock, she described finding Eileen’s lifeless body, her hair pulled out, and lying in a pool of blood. Karen, visibly distressed, recounted the traumatic moment that left a lasting impact on her.
A Call for Help
Karen received a call at around 2:45 AM on Sunday from Joseph, the driver who had been with Eileen, Brenda, and Erick (Eileen’s boyfriend). He informed her that something terrible had happened to Eileen. Joseph picked Karen up from her house and on the way to the Eveready roundabout, he urged her to fabricate a story about how they found Eileen, claiming it was a road accident. Despite his insistence, Karen chose to tell the police the truth.
